Senior Ground Systems Engineer

is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to support advanced defense communications and mission operations programs. This on-site role in El Segundo, CA follows a 9/80 schedule and focuses on leading ground system integration, verification, and testing efforts within mission-critical C2 environments.

Responsibilities for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer include:

• Lead ground system integration, verification, and test (VI&T) activities.
• Review requirements, interfaces, and architectures to support system integration.
• Develop integration strategies for software releases and deployments.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support system-level testing.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to achieve program milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer include:

• 14+ years of experience in ground systems, systems integration, V&V, or systems engineering.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience with C2 systems, mission operations, and software integration.
• Experience supporting MILSATCOM, SATCOM, Space Force, ground station, or satellite operations programs.
• Strong Ground System Verification, Integration & Test (VI&T) experience.
• Proficiency with Cameo and DOORS.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer includes:

Salary: $190,000 - $240,000 annually, depending on experience
