Piper Companies is a searching for an IT Architect to lead a dynamic team for a high-end retail customer in the Raleigh, NC area. The IT Architect will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the organizations IT infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key partners across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Working with RHEL 7 or 8, PHP or Perl scripting ,6+ years in LAMP environment , MySQL , NetSuite, AWS or other Cloud
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience working with IT systems and services
- Experience with RHEL 7 or 8
- Fluent in scripting using PHP or Perl
- Oracle experience is a plus
Compensation:
Salary $125,000 - $140,000
