Piper Companies is seeking a UX Designer to join a leading credit union based in Mclean, VA. The Lead UX Designer will create intuitive, user-centered designs that provide exceptional user experiences.. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!
Responsibilities of the Lead UX Designer include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to define and create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, leveraging industry best practices and staying updated on the latest design trends and technologies.
- Translate complex concepts into user-friendly and intuitive designs that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, guidelines, and style guides.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of user interface designs
Qualifications for the Lead UX Designer include:
- Must have experience in Banking/Financial Services
- Experience leading a UX team
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with MSFT 360 for document management and day-to-day project management.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Compensation for the Lead UX Designer include:
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 -- $60/hr-$70/hr
