Senior Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a innovative technology company. The Software Engineer develops, implements, and maintains software solutions that enables business operations to realize company goals & objectives. Must Sit in Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer include:

·      Translate specifications into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results.

·      Coordinates with software architects and Software engineers to ensure the engineering process

·      Work on an Agile team

·      Solve development problems

·      Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and software engineering standards, practices and tools.

 Qualifications for the Senior Software Engineer include:

·      Strong experience with Python, C/C++, or Java

·      Strong experience with high-availability back end technologies SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle

·      Some knowledge of testing

·      Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline

·      Strong background in API's and AWS

·      Must be a US Citizen and Most have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Similar

Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer include: 

·      Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

·      Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and holidays
