Business Analyst

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Business Analyst for an opportunity In Raleigh, NC. The Business Analyst will engage in diverse financial analysis tasks, including new projects and ad hoc analysis. Working within the standard working hours of 8-5 PM on the Raleigh campus.

 Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Work directly with finance director to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis
• Supports budgeting, month-end close, and variance analysis processes
• Manages Monthly Operations Report (MOR) and Action OI data gathering and reporting
• Provides financial support to departmental leadership
• Assists with financial analysis for new projects and conducts ad hoc analysis
• Understands operations and financial function like reimbursement and cost processes
• Maintain knowledge of subsystems for timely and accurate information

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance-Accounting and Financial Reporting and Information Technology or 3 years of direct experience within the healthcare space
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related fields
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis reporting
• Report Writing and Information Technology
• Understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement processes, and regulatory requirements is a plus
• Systems Analysis preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare or a related field, Master's Degree Preferred

Compensation for the Business Analyst:

• Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000
