Research Scientist

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Research Scientist in Portage, MI in a 100% on-site role. The Research Scientist will serve as the single point of study control and conduct the study in accordance with scientific practices.

Responsibilities for the Research Scientist include:

• Act as the Principal Investigator/Study Director/Bioanalytical Monitor for both internal and external studies
• Create protocols and ensure those protocols are approved
• Maintain relationships with industry and scientific sponsors through communication and presentations
• Exhibit knowledge and develop expertise in gene and cell therapy
• Write and review reports and SOPs

Qualifications for the Research Scientist include:

• 2+ years of experience
• Experience with PCR and gene therapy
• Knowledge of GLPs and federal regulations
• PhD or a Master's degree in a scientific-related discipline

Compensation for the Senior Patient Support Quality Manager includes:

• Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 based on experience
