Clinical Research Physician (GI, Endo, Or Hepatology) *Part-Time*

Piper Companies currently has a part-time Principal Investigator opportunity available for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, or Endocrinologist in Tucson, AZ, with a premier Clinical Research Organization. This role is part-time, with anywhere between 4 and 10 hours expected per week, based on the candidate's availability. The work must be completed onsite during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The hours are flexible based on the candidate's availability.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Physician:

• Provide clinical expertise in the conduct of clinical trials
• Work closely with colleagues across the organization in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement
• Provide oversight to a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in conducting clinical trials
• Ensure successful execution of research protocols according to FDA regulations and GCP guidelines
• Evaluate study volunteer’s eligibility for clinical trials
• Review all diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the study team

Qualifications for the Clinical Research Physician:

• Board Certified Hepatologist, Gastroenterologist, or Endocrinologist
• Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of hire with no history of license suspension or debarment
• Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Clinical research experience is nice to have

Compensation and Additional Details for the Clinical Research Physician:

• Compensation is flexible based on the candidate's requirements
• Hours must be worked onsite during normal operating hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
