Analytical R&D Scientist

Piper Companies is looking for R&D/Analytical Scientists in Lansdale, PA to join a growing team that will be focusing on the development and application of new technologies within vaccine manufacture.

The role will be primarily lab based and onsite in Lansdale, PA. Core hours will be 10-3 with flexbility otherwise.

Responsibilities include:

• Support routine process develop testing and analytical development work in the separation space: rely heavily on HPLC UPLC and CE type methods
• Provide support for discovery research, discovery process chemistry, and analytical development, formulation, identification of process impurities, drug substance and product degradants, and characterization of other unknown molecules
• Use separations-based methods to solve complex analytical problems to facilitate vaccine process and formulation development
• Provide a full range of analytical capabilities through the development and application of new technologies
• Support other groups cross functionally

Qualitifiactions include:

• Masters/PHD in Life Sciences or related
• Method development, Product/Process development experience
• HPLC, UPLC, CAD, MALS
