Cloud Services Technical Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Technical Manager of Cloud Services to join a premier cybersecurity organization. The Sr. Technical Manager of Cloud Services will support mission-critical cloud implementations for high-level clients and perform both hands on technical work as well as own client / stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Technical Manager of Cloud Services include:

• Serve as a Solution Architect and technical lead for high-level client projects
• Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
• Track and understand clients’ evolving needs, including budgeting, timelines, and key implementation components for infrastructure hardening
• Manage and assist a team of engineer
• Collaborate with other departments to determine technical and compliance solutions and implementations

Qualifications for the Sr. Technical Manager of Cloud Services include:                                                                        

• 5+ years of direct support experience with at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Proven relationship management skills and the ability to work with C-Suite executives
• Project management experience for individual and team projects, with the ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment.
• Bachelors Degree or above in a related Information Technology field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation for the Sr. Technical Manager of Cloud Services includes:

• Salary: $155,000 - $165,000
