Software Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Software Engineer in the RTP, North Carolina area for a hybrid role. This role is for a worldwide technology leading company

Responsibilities for the Software Engineer

·      Collaborate with BE/BUs to implement feature requests for Public Sector Sales, including certification work.

·      Continuously learn and adapt to new programming languages, technologies, and processes based on project needs.

·      Apply knowledge of application security, including TLS, authentication protocols, and other security features to ensure robust solutions.

·      Debug complex problems and contribute to designing code that meets feature requirements.

Qualifications for Software Engineer

·      3+ years of development experience

·      Proficiency in Python and Java; familiarity with Go, C/C++

·      Experience with REST and software development in a Linux environment

·      Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMs, Docker) and networking setup/troubleshooting

·      Strong communication skills and a willingness to continually learn

 Compensation and Benefits for

·      Salary: $100,000- $115,000
