Application Development Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Application Development Manager with a growing organization located in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. The Application Development Manager will be responsible for leading the operations department and leading all experience strategy. The position is located in the Durham/Morrisville, NC area.

Responsibilities for Application Development Manager include:

·       Assess existing system architectures and develop new strategies

·       Responsible for managing multiple application service platforms

·       Help support critical applications and its availability

·       Provide effective leadership, motivation, and direction

Requirements for the Application Development Manager include: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and technologies

·       Must have experience leading teams

·       Strong background in life cycle / process of development, testing, and deployment. Managing teams and Vendors

·       Must have Policy admin system experience - ideally FAST

·       Experience in applications support

·       Experience administering an insurance administrative platform.

·       Strong interpersonal relations, management, and supervisory skills.

Compensation of the Application Development Manager include:

·       $150,000 - $165,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package

·       Plus Bonus and LTI

·       No relocation assistance, sponsorship, or C2C arrangements available
