CT Technician (Cary, NC)

Piper Companies is looking for a CT Technician to join a well known hospital and healthcare system in the Cary, NC area. The CT Technician will operate CT scanners and related equipment at a healthcare or hospital facility. This is a full-time opportunity with multiple schedules available.

Responsibilities of the CT Technician:

• Prepare patients for their upcoming procedure(s)
• Operate the CT equipment in order to generate diagnostic scans
• Successfully complete scan activities and maintain a high standard of patient care
• Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostics
• Interpret patient information to identify specific needs for the procedure and requirements for care

Qualifications of the CT Technician:

• One year of CT scanning, preferred
• Applicable state license, required
• IV Credentialed, required
• ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at the date of hire
• Ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient

Compensation of the CT Technician:

• $55,000/year - $70,000/year dependent on years of experience in the industry as a CT Tech
