Research Scientist - Study Director

Piper Health Sciences is seeking a Research Scientist to join a non-clinical research organization located in Portage, MI. The Research Scientist will serve as the study director for internal and external studies.

Responsibilities of the Research Scientist include:

• Oversee the technical conduct of the study, results, and reporting of the results
• Ensure all data, deviations, and other events are accurately recorded and corrective actions are in place
• Interact with customers and maintain relationships through scientific expertise and good communication
• Create protocols ensuring they are approved and followed
• 100% in an office setting

Qualifications for the Research Scientist include:

• 5+ years of research and statistics experience
• Experience with PCR
• Experience with cell and gene therapies
• Ph.D., Master's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific-related discipline

Compensation for the Research Scientist include:

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 **depending on experience**
• Full Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k
