Business Analyst (Network Infrastructure)

Piper Companies is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support an enterprise-wide network project for a leading healthcare organization. This position is FULLY REMOTE and is a 6-12 month contract with potential to convert. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Business Analyst for networking or infrastructure projects, including an understanding of firewalls, network protocols, and infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities for the Business Analyst include:

• Gather requirements, document processes, and ensure the successful implementation of the network project strategy.
• Support project planning, timelines, and deliverables for the infrastructure upgrade.
• Analyze and optimize firewall rules, access controls, and network configurations.
• Provide detailed documentation of workflows, system architectures, and security requirements.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications for the Business Analyst include:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting networking or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of firewalls, network protocols, and infrastructure security.
• Experience in project documentation and requirements gathering.
• Experience working with Splunk or similar monitoring tools is a plus.
• Background in healthcare, with experience supporting EHR/EMR systems, medical device integration, or IT projects in hospital environments is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits for the Business Analyst:

• $92,000 – $100,000 *depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefit package; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
• 100% Remote work (US-based, EST)
