Systems Engineer

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to work remote for a large infrastructure team out of Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:

·       Design, implementation, and maintaining IT infrastructure technologies and services.

·       Define and document standard operating procedures.

·       Create knowledge base articles.

·       Helps in the development of automated scripts and orchestration.

·       Architecture peer review process.

·       Modernization of infrastructure strategy by helping evaluate, implement and manage cloud based infrastructure and moving to a more hybrid data center strategy.

Qualifications for the Systems Engineer include:

·       8 years of experience with Microsoft products.

·       MCSE or similar certifications.

·       Experience supporting and working with Software Development Lifecycle.

·       Engineering experience with a broad range of technologies. 

·       Bachelors degree in related area od 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Compensation for the Systems Engineer includes:

·       Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 salary with 8k annual bonus

·       Contract to hire
