R&D Chromatography Scientist

Piper Companies is currently seeking R&D Chromatography Scientist for an opportunity in Lansdale, Pennsylvania (PA), to join a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer bringing forward life-saving medications and vaccines.

Responsibilities of the R&D Chromatography Scientist

• Within the R&D separation space, they will help to support routine process development testing
• Could also support some activities in the analytical development space
• Will rely heavily on HPLC, UPLC, GC, Cap Detectors (Detection in Capillary Electrophoresis - CE), Mass Spectrometry, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Florescence
• Will support process/product/method development
• Electronic notebook documentation

Qualifications of the R&D Chromatography Scientist

• 5+ years of separation science/chromatography lab experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, or a relevant mix of academic and industry experience
• Hands-on knowledge of CE, Cap Detectors, HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, Florescence, Mass-Spectrometry, or other separation science methods
• Experience in method development
• Strong skills in team communication, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biology, engineering, or another relevant life-science

Compensation for the R&D Chromatography Scientist

• Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
