Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance

Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance for a growing insurance organization located in Tampa, Florida. The Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance is a hybrid position. A successful candidate for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance will possess a versatile technology background within the commercial Property and Casualty insurance domain.

Responsibilities for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance include:

·       Serve as a solutions engineer for all technical solutions

·       Own solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing

·       Work closely with multiple stakeholders within the business, IT, and Engineering

Requirements for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance include:

·       Over 5 years of professional development and solutions engineering experience

·       Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance background

·       Strong background working with 3^rd party software and creating solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience

Compensation of the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance:

·       $160,000 - $190,000 annually

·       FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package
