Quaity Improvement Area Specialist - Manufacturing

Piper Companies is actively seeking an Quality Improvement Area Specialist to join a global pharmaceutical organization that specializes in diabetes care, among other products and services. The Quality Improvement Area Specialist will take the lead to improve process quality on shift by creating solutions for investigations as well as forming preventative actions. This will be an onsite role located in Clayton, NC on a 2-2-3 schedule between the hours of 5:45-6:15 AM/PM with both day and night shifts available.

Responsibilities of the Quality Improvement Area Specialist

• Investigate and create solutions of quality problems on shift
• Investigations include non-conformities, as well as unscheduled events
• Create preventative actions alongside the process team
• Communicate corrective actions from investigations
• Ensure audit readiness by performing periodic assessment of compliance of shift personnel

Qualifications of the Quality Improvement Area Specialist:

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Experience with Aseptic Processing experience preferred
• Experience using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of GMP's preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience

Compensation of the Quality Improvement Area Specialist:

• Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, and Holiday's
