FPGA Design Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced hardware products. The FPGA Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based solutions for hardware products onsite in Morrisville, NC

Responsibilities for the FPGA Design Engineer:

• Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for hardware products.
• Perform verification and validation of FPGA designs through simulations and testing.
• Write and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of FPGA designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and performance of hardware solutions.

Qualifications for the FPGA Design Engineer:

• 5-8 years' experience in FPGA design
• Strong knowledge of running simulations and writing tests for FPGA designs
• Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or Nexus SmartNICs
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and work onsite in San Jose, CA

Compensation/Benefits for the FPGA Design Engineer:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually
