Piper Companies is seeking an IT Consultant to join an established Legal Company located in Conshohocken, PA for a contract to hire opportunity. This position is 100% onsite. The IT Consultant will be responsible for managing a range of technical devices and services, providing support, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the firm.
Responsibilities of the IT Consultant:
- Manage fleet of endpoints and accompanying devices such as docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices.
- Ensure proper inventory and availability of technology supplies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with Helpdesk and MSP, requiring super-user knowledge of key software like iManage and Teams.
- Provide support for conference room setups, ensuring video conferencing equipment functions properly.
- Oversee employee management tasks including user setup, termination, phone systems, and mobile device applications.
Qualification for the IT Consultant:
- Four years of experience in IT roles.
- Experience working in a law firm environment is a major plus.
- Familiarity with key software packages like iManage, Teams, and video conferencing solutions.
- Ability to handle after-hours and weekend work for projects and critical initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with external tech providers (MSP, Helpdesk).
- Knowledge of AI governance and evaluation of new technology options.
- Experience with network monitoring and physical device connectivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Compensation for the IT Consultant:
Hourly Rate: $40.0--$50.0 per hour ***based on experience***
