Senior Solutions Architect

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join a global leader in data center, cloud, and networking infrastructure solutions. This position will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and strategic support to sales teams, helping customers design and implement cutting-edge cloud, networking, and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Provide expert technical consultation for cloud, networking, and data center solutions, focusing on public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop creative IT solutions, ensuring optimal deployment and total cost of ownership.
• Facilitate customer workshops to assess architecture needs and present technical solutions to a diverse range of audiences up to the C-Suite.
• Lead the technical aspects of proposal development, solution sizing, and customer-facing presentations.
• This team works to improve the probability of a deal closing, increasing the size of a deal in process, expanding the team's reach globally, and improving scale through tooling and automation.

Qualifications for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical roles within hosting, cloud, networking, or IT consulting.
• 2+ years of experience in solution selling and/or pre-sales technical support.
• Expertise in cloud services, networking, and hardware infrastructure (e.g., storage, security).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Compensation/Benefits for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Salary: $175,000 - $205,000 with a 40% bonus potential.
