Network Engineer

Piper Companies is currently searching for a Network Engineer to work Hybrid in Columbia, MD for a prominent Healthcare service provider. The Network Engineer will manage and support critical network infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:

·       Configure and administer core routing and switching (EIGRP, OSPF)

·       Work with ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve high-level circuit issues

·       Administer and configure Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)

·       Manage Cisco Meraki (wireless and switching)

·       Design and document network diagrams as needed

Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

·       5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering

·       Cisco ACI and ISE administration and configuration experience

·       Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls

·       Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

·       Strong work ethic with the ability to quickly adapt and learn

Compensation for the Network Engineer include:

·       Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 **Depends on level of degree/combined years of experience**
