Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the Rare Disease Team of a global biopharmaceutical organization committed to transforming the lives of individuals affected by rare diseases. The Rare Disease Account Executive will develop and execute strategic business plans to engage with physicians and clinics within the Portland, OR region, driving territory sales by working closely with sales leadership, market access teams, medical professionals, and key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities for the Rare Disease Account Executive:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to target physicians, clinics, and Centers of Excellence in the local market.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of rare diseases, including patient journeys, care standards, and available treatments.
- Build strong relationships within the payer landscape, collaborating with the payer access team to ensure patients have access to and affordability for the company’s products.
Qualifications for the Rare Disease Account Executive:
- 7+ years of experience in field sales/account management within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
- At least 4 years of experience working in rare diseases and neurology.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving high sales performance and notable achievements.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Compensation/Benefits for the Rare Disease Account Executive:
- Base salary of $150,000 - $185,000/year, plus bonus and additional financial incentives.
- OTE: $210,000+
