Senior Electrical Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD, and Norfolk, VA. The Senior Electrical Engineer will assist the electrical engineers with designing lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer include:

• Create electrical design drawings 
• Effectively use AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs for projects
• Perform field surveys of properties
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other teams/departments
• Attend project meetings

Qualifications for the Senior Electrical Engineer include:

• 5+ years of experience
• Obtains a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Previous experience using AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration from ABET accredited college or university

Compensation for the Senior Electrical Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**
