GenAI Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a GenAI Engineer to join a tech solutions provider in the financial services industry. This position is FULLY REMOTE (US-based, EST) and direct hire (permanent).

Responsibilities of the GenAI Engineer:

·       Lead AI projects for clients: Define objectives, track progress, and align projects with business goals.

·       Model implementation: fine-tune generative AI and ML models with input from specialized team members.

·       Technical translation: convert requirements into actionable plans and ensure alignment across teams.

·       Stakeholder liaison: act as the primary technical communicator for AI initiatives.

·       Innovation and training: embrace new techniques and mentor team members for continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the GenAI Engineer:

·       Generative AI Expertise: Experience deploying and fine-tuning models such as GPT or BERT, with a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts.

·       Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical AI/ML projects, manage timelines, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

·       Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and scaling AI models.

·       Communication: Strong skills in articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

·       Continuous Learning: Passion for adopting new AI techniques and tools, and a commitment to ethical AI practices.

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, AI or related field

Compensation for the GenAI Engineer:

·       Annual salary: $130,000 – $145,000

·       Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (all fully paid), 401k, etc.; 10 paid holidays, 3 weeks of PTO
