Jr. Embedded Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Jr. Embedded Software Engineer in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The Jr. Embedded Software Engineer will work on a team supporting the development of multiple products. An ideal candidate for the Jr. Embedded Software Engineer will be open to learning new technologies and have an interest in security. The Jr. Embedded Software Engineer role will be hybrid – requiring to be onsite 2 days a week.  

Responsibilities for the Jr. Embedded Software Engineer include:

·       C embedded development

·       Working closely with product management to gather requirements and translate those into design features and functions

·       Quickly ramp up on current products and understand the common problems

Requirements for the Jr. Embedded Software Engineer include:

·       US Citizen

·       1+ years of professional embedded software programming experience

·       Background in C and Python

·       Device driver experience is ideal

·       Strong debugging skills

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience

Compensation for the Jr. Embedded Software Engineer includes:

·       $65,000 - $77,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package.
