Program Analyst III

Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Program Analyst III to support a government financing organization in the Washington, DC area by providing internal accounting, budgeting, and auditing support services. (This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.)

Responsibilities for the Program Analyst III include:

·       Respond to meeting and audit requests and accounting tasks.

·       Create and revise accounting forms, audit documentation, and reports.

·       Communicate with auditors, manage audit deliverables, and support financial statement accounting and internal controls.

·       Perform reconciliations, process transactions, and document financial activities.

·       Investigate accounting issues, develop solutions, and support risk mitigation and remediation strategies.

·       Provide routine and ad hoc reports, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve decision-making.

Qualifications for the Program Analyst III include:

·       Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.

·       Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field is required. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics is preferred.

·       Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM) certification is preferred.

·       5-8 years of relevant experience in the accounting and/or financial industry.

Compensation for the Program Analyst III includes:

·       Salary range: approximately $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience
