Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner (Hybrid) to join a well-established biotechnology company in the Silver Spring, MD area. The Senior ER Partner will be responsible for managing all ER activities including workplace investigations, leave cases, EEO, worker’s compensation, conflict resolution and FMLA cases.
Responsibilities of the Senior Employee Relations Partner:
· Oversee all Employee Relations functions including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, compliance training, employee engagement, leave cases, EEOC, and workers compensation, etc.
· Serves as the SME on employee relation matters
· Provide guidance and coaching to improve and drive individual and team performance as well as collaborate with managers on performance improvement plans
· Develop and implement HR initiatives and provide conflict resolution guidance and direction to managers and employees
· Track, report and make recommendations to reinforce a positive and positive work environment/culture
· Collaborate with team of HR Business Partners and legal as it pertains to employee relations matters
Qualifications of the Senior Employee Relations Partner:
· 6+ years of direct employee relations experience (biotech/pharmaceutical preferred, not required)
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, business, or other related disciplines
· PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP Certifications preferred (not required)
Compensation of the Senior Employee Relations Partner:
· Salary between $130,000 - $150,000 based on years of relevant experience
