Acquisition Program Analyst SME

Piper Companies is looking for a Acquisition Program Analyst SME to join a DoD consulting company supporting the PEOC3T program. This role is onsite twice a week in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

 Essential Duties of the Acquisition Program Analyst SME:

• Responsible for managing and conducting comprehensive activities necessary to support the Project Manager (PM) acquisition programs.
• Coordinates between multiple organizations at the various leadership levels Joint/Department of Defense (DoD), US Army/US Air Force/US Marine Corps/US Navy, Joint Project and Product Managers, Joint Program Executive Office and Joint Requirements Office. 
• Represents the PEO C3T as Subject Matter Expert on acquisition reporting requirements, policy and procedures.
• Assist PMs with developing and preparing documentation in support of the acquisition program budget process to include spend planning, execution reviews, program budget justification requests, and Army Program Budget Briefs to Congress.

Qualifications of the Acquisition Program Analyst SME:

• 3+ years of experience managing DoD acquisition program reporting.
• 5-8+ years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of acquisitions lifecycle and sustainment plans. Experience filling in gaps for what is needed on acquisition paperwork.
• Experience with ACAT I programs and associated reporting would be helpful.

 Compensation for the Acquisition Program Analyst SME:

• $125,000 - $155,000 (based on experience)
