Electrical Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm located in Norfolk, VA, and Baltimore, MD. The Electrical Engineer will assist the electrical engineers with designing lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:

• Create electrical design drawings 
• Effectively use AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs for projects
• Perform field surveys of properties
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other teams/departments
• Attend project meetings

Qualifications for the Electrical Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience
• Previous experience using AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration from ABET accredited college or university

Compensation for the Electrical Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 **depending on experience**
