Lead Azure Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Lead Azure Engineer to create solution architecture for a banking/bill pay web application and map it to azure cloud. In this Lead Azure Engineer position you would work with the end-client and the offshore developers to design, architect, and deploy the solutions.

Responsibilities of the Lead Azure Engineer include:

·        Create current-state AWS/Heroku deployment diagrams using AWS standard cloud icons

·        Map AWS/Heroku to Azure AppServices components and services

·        Develop complex payment processing and disbursement architecture on Azure

·        Aid engineers in building CI/CD pipelines within AWS/Azure

Qualifications for the Lead Azure Engineer include: 

·        7+ years of experience with Azure cloud native applications/services, architecture design, as well as application performance monitoring, observability, and cloud tracing

·        Expert understanding CI/CD automation using; Terraform, Ansible, Maven, or Jenkins

·        Experience with payment integration services

·        Experience with Kubernetes containerization, preferred service: ISTIO

·        Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant STEM or technical field of study

Compensation for the Lead Azure Engineer include:

·        Pay Rate: $80-84/hr C2C or $72-74/hr W2

·        Salary Conversion: $155,000
