Systems Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Systems Engineer for a healthcare services organization in Columbia, Maryland. The Systems Engineer role is a hybrid role that requires two days in the office (Columbia, MD) per week.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer:

·      Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure technologies and services

·      Plan and design IT solutions and strategies to address business needs

·      Implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure

·      Proactive maintenance on respective technologies and services to ensure service delivery

·      Mentor junior Systems Engineers and Admins

Qualifications for the Systems Engineer:

·      5+ years of System Engineering experience with a broad range of technologies and concepts

·      Extensive experience with Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Active Directory

·      MCSE or similar certifications are preferred

·      Bachelor’s degree in a related area or 5+ years of experience in the field

Compensation/Benefits for the Systems Engineer:

·      Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 **depending on experience**
