Field Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a Field Technician for a start-up investment firm in Denver, CO. The Field Technician will operate in support of our client’s acquisitions of MSP’s focused on utility/energy companies.

Responsibilities for the Field Technician:

·      Implementing and overseeing hardware and software systems within cloud-based environments

·      Monitor the performance of and troubleshoot technical issues related to the cloud-based systems

·      Collaborate with other team members to upgrade systems with cloud-based solutions

Qualifications for the Field Technician:

·      3-5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, data migration, cybersecurity, networking and infrastructure as code (IaC)

·      Prior experience with cloud computing tools such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc. 

·      Certification in cloud technologies from AWS, Google, Microsoft, or CompTIA Cloud+

·      Educational background in computer science or a related field, or relevant experience and training

Compensation/Benefits for the Field Technician:

·      Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 **depending on experience**
