Cyber Security Support Engineer

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Support Engineer to join a highly recognized cyber security and IT company located in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities for a Cyber Security Support Engineer:

• Maintain a schedule for upcoming software and hardware upgrades
• Ensure secure backup of systems and data through formally documented backup plans, up to date listings of systems to be backed up, proper storing, and labeling of completed back ups
• Maintain the establishment of infrastructure services supporting cybersecurity environments such as domain name services, hosting virtual infrastructure, networking monitoring services, etc.
• Ability to lead overall design, engineering, operation, and maintenance of an in-depth cybersecurity infrastructure

Qualifications for a Cyber Security Support Engineer:

• Minimum of 5 years of Linux
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with IDS, IPS and Host Based Security Solutions is required
• Presentation and public speaking skills are important to communicate effectively and identify vulnerabilities with a wide audience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Must have a CompTIA Security + CE Certificate and a Certified Ethical Hacker certificate prior to starting

Compensation for a Cyber Security Support Engineer:

• Salary Range: $170,000-$190,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
