Software Development Engineer

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a contract to hire remote role for a Software Development Engineer to join an innovative and cutting-edge IT Financial organization.

Responsibilities of Software Development Engineer:

• Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications to support financial technology solutions.
• Utilize rigorous testing and peer reviews to ensure code quality, security, and performance are up to standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the software stack.
• Design, enhance, and execute application programming interface (APIs) and backend services.

Qualifications of Software Development Engineer:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency in several coding methods, such as SQL (must have), Java, Python, C#, jQuery, HTML, Angular, etc..
• Must have financial systems experience (data management, user training and support, implementing and maintaining financial systems, etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) management including planning, implementation, testing, maintenance, etc.

Compensation of Software Development Engineer:

• Salary range: $100,000-$150,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and holidays
