Linux Systems Administrator

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a skilled Linux Systems/Network Administrator to join a well-known and successful company in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Responsibilities of Linux Systems/Network Administrator:

• Assist with network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordinating between network and data communications hardware and software
• Observe and test website performance to ensure it is working correctly and efficiently
• Install and support the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems
• Administer network security measures to ensure data and information is protected

Qualifications of Linux Systems/Network Administrator:

• 4+ years’ experience of using technical skills including data analysis, system administration, programming, troubleshooting, etc.
• Manage, maintain, and secure Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, etc.
• BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field

Compensation of Linux Systems/Network Administrator:

• Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and holidays
