Network Architect

Piper Companies is looking for a Network Architect to join an established electronics manufacturing company for a Hybrid, FULL-TIME opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

This role will require 3 days/week on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities for Network Architect:

• Design and implement resilient network architectures, including creating detailed blueprints and standards.
• Lead large-scale network projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with organizational goals and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications for Network Architect:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a similar role within large-scale environments.
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and hands-on experience with network hardware and software.
• Proficiency in network security practices, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
• Familiarity with SDN, NFV, and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.

Compensation for Network Architect:

• $170,000 - $200,000 Base salary
• Hybrid work schedule
