Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist support a highly reputable Biotechnology company in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid Schedule)
Responsibilities for the HR Generalist
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across Benefits, HRIS, and other People systems.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientations, system setups, exit interviews, and COBRA administration.
- Act as a trusted resource, fostering strong internal and external relationships to enhance colleague experiences.
- Manage payroll and insurance documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Stay informed on market trends to continuously improve and align benefit offerings.
Qualifications for the HR Generalist
- 5+ years in People Team leadership roles focusing on Benefits, People Operations, Systems, Payroll
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across all organizational levels.
- Expertise in at least one core area: people operations, benefits, talent and performance management, or employee relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience; SHRM-CP certification and Biotech/Pharma background preferred.
Compensation for the HR Generalist
- Salary Range is commensurate with experience
- Contract (with possible extension)
- Hybrid Work schedule
