Infrastructure Architect - IAM

Piper Companies is seeking an Infrastructure Architect-IAM to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be onsite 3 days/week in Atlanta, GA. The Infrastructure Architect-IAM will design, implement, and manage enterprise-level directory and collaboration solutions to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operations across hybrid cloud environments.

Requirements of the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:

• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Active Directory environments.
• Expertise in Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including Azure AD, ADFS, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation in AD and Office 365.
• Familiarity with security protocols, compliance frameworks, and hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud solutions.

Qualifications of the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:

• Strong understanding of Active Directory infrastructure, including replication, ADFS, Group Policy, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Office 365 architecture and administration, focusing on scalability and security.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and DNS as they relate to AD and Office 365.
• Experience with hybrid cloud integrations involving on-prem AD and Azure AD.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex AD and Office 365 environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator or Enterprise Administrator Expert, and experience with third-party IAM tools like Okta or Ping Identity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation for the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:

• Salary: $170,000-200,000/year (depending on experience)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k. sick leave required by law.
