Senior Database Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Database Engineer for a technology focused professional services firm in King of Prussia, PA. This would be a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days in the office.

Responsibilities for the Senior Database Engineer:

·     Design and implement data warehouse solutions and ETL pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing, ensuring optimal performance and scalability in cloud environments like Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Redshift.

·     Manage security setups and best practices within cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

·     Develop master data management solutions to maintain data integrity and consistency.

·     Lead project teams, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications for the Senior Database Engineer:

·      5+ years of experience working in database engineering or a related field

·      Proficiency working with cloud-based data warehouses, including Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Redshift

·      Extensive experience with Tableau and/or comparable enterprise BI tools

·      Experience implementing master data management solutions

·      Bachelor’s Degree is required

Compensation/Benefits for the Senior Database Engineer:

·      Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 **depending on experience**
