Sr. Product Owner (Insurance)

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) for an award winning company located in Durham, North Carolina. The Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) must work a hybrid schedule being onsite in the office 3 days a week. The Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) will work closely with several stakeholders to achieve the common goal of successfully delivering new products.

 Responsibilities for the Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) include:

·       Deliver exciting and functional features with the development team

·       Collaborate with other key team members in order to better processes and performance

·       Provide streamlined performance demos to both technical and business stakeholders

·       Leverage mentorship to peers while communicating effectively with your team on key deliverables, prioritization, and business and marketing context

Qualifications for the Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) include:

·       Ability to work a hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

·       4+ years’ experience as a Product Owner

·       Experience managing the backlog

·       Industry experience within insurance or annuities

·       Experience within an Agile environment

·       Excellent communication and presentation qualities

·       Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience

Compensation for the Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) include:

·       Salary Range: $100,000 – 135,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and Sick Leave as required by law.
