Upstream Process Development Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in upstream process development for rAAV.
• Execute and analyze experiments using DoE and QbD principles.
• Perform suspension cell culture, transfection, and bioreactor operations.
• Analyze data and report findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support external manufacturing as an SME.
• Maintain and manage the ELN system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 1-3 years of upstream process development experience.
• Proficiency in suspension cell culture, transfection, and bioreactor operations.
• Knowledge of DoE and QbD principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and familiar with ELN systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with rAAV production.
• Knowledge of clinical-stage regulatory requirements.
• Experience in external manufacturing support.

Working Conditions:

• Laboratory environment with occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
• May require evening or weekend work.

Pay Range: $35 - $45/hr. Relevant experience will dictate payment rate.
