Network Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Network Engineer to work onsite in Quantico, VA 4 days per week. The ideal Network Engineer will have extensive experience with SDA, Catalyst Center, and DNAC, as well as layers 1 through 4 and hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Design, deploy, and manage SDA, Catalyst Center, and DNAC solutions.
• Provide expert-level support for network infrastructure, focusing on layers 1 through 4.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network strategies.
• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer:

• 6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on SDA, Catalyst Center, and DNAC
• In-depth knowledge of layers 1 through 4 of the OSI model.
• Hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active DoD TS, SCI eligible clearance
• Certifications in CCNA and CCNP (CCIE is a plus).

Compensation/Benefits for the Network Engineer:

• Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 annually
