Senior Wireless Engineer (Cat 98xx WLCs, 91xx APs, DNAC/Catalyst Center)

Piper Companies has an exciting Senior Wireless Engineer opportunity available with a leading global technology firm supporting Automotive Customers in The Motor City, Detroit, MI. The Senior Wireless Engineer will work closely with the client, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex Cisco Wireless networks. This individual will work onsite 25% of the time. Travel and expenses will be provided to anyone outside of the general Detroit area.

Responsibilities - Senior Wireless Engineer:

• Provide white glove consultation for customers
• Design, Implement, and Troubleshoot complex Cisco wireless networks
• Serve as the SME for all things related to the customers Cisco Wireless Infrastructure
• Proactively enhance tooling and automation to improve efficiencies

Requirements - Senior Wireless Engineer:

• Significant experience troubleshooting issues with large wireless networks, including Wi-Fi 6/6E environments
• Knowledge of Cisco Wireless Controllers and APs (Catalyst 9800 Controllers and Catalyst 9100 Access Points)
• Understanding of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)/Catalyst Center and Prime Infrastructure
• Must be comfortable working at customer site 3 days per week alternating between Dearborn and Warren, MI

Compensation - Senior Wireless Engineer:

• Annual Salary Expectations $120,000 - $130,000
