QA Engineer (Web and API testing)

Piper Companies is currently in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Annuities and Life Insurance technology organization located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The QA Engineer will work a hybrid schedule onsite schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and will be an essential part of the Engineering team reporting to the Digital Solutions Manager.

Responsibilities of the QA Engineer include:

• Test Web Applications to identify potential bugs or usability issues
• Create and drive test cases and scripts, ensuring the application is running optimally
• Test APIs, validate endpoints, and ensure software components are properly integrated

Qualifications for the QA Engineer include:

• Ability and willingness to work onsite 3 days per week
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 2 years of Web and API testing experience with experience using tools like Postman
• Hands-on experience with tools like Cypress or Playwright for automated Web Application testing
• Experience with AWS Cloud services like S3, Lambda, CloudWatch or RDS is preferred

Compensation for the QA Engineer:

• Annual Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 plus 10% Bonus, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401k, PTO, Paid Holiday, and Sick Leave as Required by Law
