Senior EDI Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Senior EDI Analyst to join a healthcare organization for a 12+ month contract. This role is REMOTE, but candidates must reside in California. The Senior EDI Analyst is a technical expert who leads and mentors the EDI team, manages complex data processes, and oversees system design and development.

Requirements:

• Provide technical leadership and manage projects using PMI methods.
• Lead EDI development and Agile teams, act as Scrum Master, and communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to solve complex issues.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Expertise in ANSI formats for healthcare EDI.
• 4+ years of experience with Healthcare EDI X12N transactions (e.g., 837I/837P, 274, 834, 835, 270/271, 820, 999, 277CA).
• Develop business requirements and lead Agile sessions.
• Handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Recommend solutions after data analysis.
• Implement system changes for managed care core systems.
• Understand medical terminology (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and Provider Taxonomy codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in an EDI Analyst role or similar position in a medium to large organization (healthcare).
• Programming and system configuration experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology and project management.

Compensation:

-       Hourly rate: $50.00 - $60.00
