QC Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking a QC Manager based in Wayne, Pennsylvania for work at an established, global clinical research services group.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in molecular biology and familiarity with GMP regulated industry.  

Responsibilities of the QC Manager:   

• Facilitate the optimization, creation, and delivery of assays, antibodies and reagents to clients
• Serves as lead scientist and SME for NGS activities
• Communicate project status to lab, project, and CRO leadership 
• Implement and innovate SOPs

 Qualifications of the QC Manager:   

• 5+ years scientific experience with people management responsibilities
• Process-improvement mindset
• Understanding of NGS (next gen sequencing) and prior GMP-regulated bench experience a must
• Ability to manage deviations/investigation, CAPAs and change control processes
• BS in biology or related field

Compensation for the QC Manager:   

• $105,000-125,000 salary
