Technical Writer

Piper Companies is looking for a Technical Writer to join a a premier healthcare organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an opportunity with a great company and flexible hybrid schedule!

Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:

• Develop high-quality materials including PowerPoint presentations, white papers, websites, and marketing assets that align with brand standards
• Work closely with engineers and end-users to translate technical healthcare IT solutions into accessible, engaging narratives tailored to various audiences
• Engage with technical teams, clinicians, and leadership to understand project goals, workflows, and technological impact in healthcare settings
• Create persuasive content that highlights business value while educating stakeholders about technical solutions

Qualifications for the Technical Writer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years in content strategy, graphic design, or a similar role—preferably in healthcare or technology sectors
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva
• Ability to distill technical information into clear, engaging content
• Understanding of UX/UI principles for digital platforms and presentations

Compensation/Benefits for the Technical Writer:

• $90,000 - $110,000
• Hybrid schedule
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
