IT Specialist

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Specialist to join a legal company located in Conshohocken, PA for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is 100% on-site.

Responsibilities of the IT Specialist:

• Manage fleet of endpoints and accompanying devices such as docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices.
• Ensure proper inventory and availability of technology supplies.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with Helpdesk and MSP, requiring super-user knowledge of key software like iManage and Teams.
• Provide support for conference room setups, ensuring video conferencing equipment functions properly.
• Oversee employee management tasks including user setup, termination, phone systems, and mobile device applications.

Qualifications of the IT Specialist:

• Four years of experience in IT roles.
• Experience working in a law firm environment is a major plus.
• Familiarity with key software packages like iManage, Teams, and video conferencing solutions.
• Ability to handle after-hours and weekend work for projects and critical initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with external tech providers (MSP, Helpdesk).
• Knowledge of AI governance and evaluation of new technology options.
• Experience with network monitoring and physical device connectivity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Compensation for the IT Consultant:

• $40.0-$50.0 per hour, depending on experience
