Sr. Cloud Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join a compay at the forefront of technology and software innovation, leveraging AI to specialize in behavioral science, data science, and machine learning to enhance health and well-being through a Fully Remote work schedule. The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be supporting and contributing to software engineering, technical leadership, solutions architecture, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Cloud Engineer Specialist include:

• Design and support cloud-agnostic solutions for multiple cloud providers and customer data centers.
• Implement and maintain self-healing infrastructure across environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify optimal cloud services and solutions.
• Address infrastructure issues and improve engineering practices.
• Document work and review code and designs.
• Support build & CI/CD pipeline engineering efforts

Qualifications for the Sr. Cloud Engineer Specialist include:

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience (public and private)
• 2+ years of software development (Java or Python).
• Proficiency in Azure, AWS, Terraform as IaC, Kubernetes, and EKS.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash or Python) for automation.
• Healthcare experience is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must work onsite 5 days a week in Durham, NC.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation for the Sr. Cloud Engineer Specialist include:

• $160,000 - 170,000
• Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Sick Leave if required by law
